Michael has been in the ballroom competitive scene for many years and, after winning many ballroom competitions, has decided to pass on his knowledge in the only way he knows: with a lot of laughs!
He is notably the head coach for the Rutgers Ballroom Team.
Michael prides himself in being able to teach not only competitive students, but beginners and anyone in between. His moto? Make it fun.

Presently Manager/Instructor here at Sunset Dance Center of Piscataway, my dance background includes ballroom, jazz, modern and ballet over the past 30 years. During my dance career I competed and taught American style ballroom dance. I have also performed in shows, choregraphed, judged and have been mistress of ceremonies for dance events.
Having recently retired from a career of over 40 years in the field of nursing, I have returned to dance. Dance has always been in my life in some form or fashion.

Hiya! I'm 22 and I've been dancing ten dance competitively and ballroom in particular for 11 years. Last year (2022), I was ranked 2nd in the USA for ballroom dancing and placed 3rd at nationals in under 21 championship. I've also done hip-hop, contemporary, and many other styles.
Dancing isn't all I do though! I'm a senior at Rutgers University studying chemical engineering down the premed path with a minor in geological sciences. I'm graduating next year, and hopefully moving on to med school!
